Current360 Expands Executive Leadership

Louisville, KY – W. Nicholas (Nick) Ising has been named president of one of Louisville’s largest advertising agencies, Current360, the company announced today. He succeeds Rick Schardein, who will retain the combined title of Chairman/CEO.
In addition, the Agency named Dennis Bonifer, Allison Gibson and Kati Parrish as Vice Presidents.
“Nick and I have worked together for more than 25 years, and he’s uniquely qualified to move our Louisville operation forward,” Schardein said. “We need his strong leadership day-to-day, and this allows me to concentrate on servicing our two largest clients (Tumbleweed Tex-Mex Grill & Margarita Bar and the Mortenson Family Dental Group), while continuing to grow our South Florida operation.”
Last year, Current360 announced its acquisition of a Ft. Lauderdale-based branding agency and a mystery shopping company.
Current360 was founded by Schardein in 1984 and is now 100% employee-owned through an ESOP established in 2009. Its clients include local, regional and national concerns, and it has positioned itself as one of the area’s leading digital and interactive marketing agencies.
Ising joined the company in 1986 and served most recently as Vice President of Client Services.
“I am equally humbled and excited to expand my leadership role at Current360, with Allison, Dennis and Kati at my side,” Ising said. “I’m grateful for Rick and Lisa Schardein’s example of servant-leadership over the years. This is an invigorating time to be in this business and I’m determined to keep our team a step ahead of this everchanging marketing communication industry.”
