Do you own an E-Reader? Do you use it like you thought you would?
Well, I own one. Just had to have it . Do I use it? No. I didn’t give it any thought when I purchased it because I love to read so I thought it would be nice to own one.
Why don’t I use it? Well, for starters, if I bought a book, I usually would pass it on to a friend or relative after I’ve read it so they could enjoy reading the book themselves. I can’t see myself letting them borrow my E-reader (not sure when I would get it back to read another book).
Second: Once I’ve read the book the first time, I usually don’t go back and read them again, I would give them to the DAV or Goodwill. Can’t see how I can donate the books if they are downloaded to the E-reader.
Third: I thought it would be nice to take it with me to read while I was on vacation. But when I went down to the pool or the beach, I was afraid it would get wet so I would leave it in the room. Yes, the books can get wet also, but they can dry and I would not have to worry about it not working when it got wet. Plus I was afraid someone would walk off with the E-reader, which cost more than the book itself.
