So I was clicking around in the new Apple App Store, when I came across an image editing app that I had forgotten about. Pixelmator. Essentially it is a direct competitor of Photoshop. However, with a price point of $29.99 this app is well within reach of folks who can’t/don’t want to ante up $700.
Rest assured, despite its ridiculously low price, it’s no slouch. Photoshop users will find all the tools they are used to in logical places (most tools even have the same keyboard shortcuts. Pixelmator even does a few things that Photoshop can’t.
